Our Team

Hannah Sandmeyer: Founder & CEO

Hannah’s career began with a commitment to global service, serving as an HIV/AIDS Peace Corps volunteer in rural Botswana. That experience ignited a lifelong dedication to purpose-driven work and empathetic leadership. She’s lived and studied in Copenhagen and Siena, bringing a global lens to nearly two decades in M&A sourcing, enterprise sales, and entrepreneurship. Hannah has led high-performing teams across public and private sectors, closing over $400M in revenue and building scalable, ethical growth strategies for mission-driven companies.

Based in Portland, OR, she lives with her young son, her partner Jessie, and their Frenchton, Hank. Outside of work, she’s an avid cyclist, rower, and adventurer—most recently cycling from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok. Whether navigating a cross-border acquisition or Southeast Asian backroads, Hannah brings curiosity, courage, and a values-first mindset to everything she does.

Kari is deeply embedded in the impact ecosystem. She serves as Certifications Chair for B Local PDX, supports women-owned businesses through Xcelerate Women, and contributes to Portland State University’s Impact Ventures Fund. She is known for her clarity, follow-through, and ability to build trust quickly.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Kari grounds her life through daily meditation, the study of Yoga and Ayurveda, and time with her Shih Tzu, Wally.

Annie Clymer: Content Operations Manager

Annie blends the art of storytelling with a strong foundation in operations. She's spent the past three years in marketing and operations supporting high-growth startups based all around the world, honing her ability to translate complex ideas and products into compelling narratives. She saw firsthand how traditional M&A transactions affect not just businesses, but the real people behind them. Being witness to that impact drew her to ethical M&A, where the work requires rewriting the script: helping people understand what's possible when acquisitions honor mission, community, and values alongside growth.

Annie started her career in independent bookstores, working closely with the communities she served, an experience that shaped her commitment to authentic, people-first work. Today, she keeps those roots alive and co-owns a small indie bookstore with her husband in Fayetteville, NC, where they live with their collie, Phoebe, and cat, Kyle.
