Impact Acquisition Partner

Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
Company: Up & Over Advisors
Reports to: CEO

About Up & Over Advisors:

Up & Over Advisors is reimagining mergers and acquisitions as a force for good. We help values-driven companies grow through ethical, impact-aligned acquisitions. Deals that amplify purpose, protect people, and create shared prosperity.

We are the first and only Certified B Corp M&A sourcing agency in the world focused exclusively on buy-side opportunities for mission-driven companies. Our mission is to democratize M&A and prove that growth and purpose can thrive together.

If you believe capitalism can evolve, that business can grow and do good, you’ll feel at home here.

About the Role:

As an Impact Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a dual role:

  1. Build the pipeline — develop and convert new buy-side client relationships with purpose-driven companies ready to scale through acquisition.

  2. Execute the strategy — manage those client engagements, design and run their sourcing campaigns, and act as the trust bridge between founders exploring exits and buyers building impact.

You’ll be part of the founding team shaping the playbook for a new kind of M&A. One where every deal expands impact, access, equity, and ownership.

This role blends sales, strategy, and stewardship. It’s about creating opportunities and ensuring every connection we make honors the values of everyone involved.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and nurture a pipeline of mission-driven companies interested in growth through acquisition.

  • Manage active client accounts, developing sourcing strategies and executing outbound campaigns.

  • Identify, qualify, and engage founders with integrity and empathy on behalf of our clients.

  • Translate market intelligence into actionable deal insights to guide client strategy.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure smooth handoffs, transparency, and meaningful outcomes.

  • Champion Up & Over’s values — People, Planet, Profit — in every interaction.

Who You Are:

  • A connector at heart who sees potential partnerships where others see competitors.

  • A believer in business as a tool for systems change, not just shareholder return.

  • Equally comfortable prospecting new clients and stewarding existing ones.

  • Confident and curious, you can navigate conversations from the founder’s desk to the boardroom.

  • Entrepreneurial by nature, motivated by purpose and excited to help build something from the ground up.

Preferred Experience:

  • Sales, business development, or corporate development experience preferred but not required. We can coach the skill; we can’t coach the spark.

  • Familiarity with M&A, impact investing, or private markets is helpful but not essential.

  • Volunteer work, community leadership, or social activism are highly attractive. They speak to your values in action.

  • An MBA is a pure bonus. Understanding the nature of business will only strengthen your work, but alignment with our mission matters most.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to be a foundational hire shaping a new category in the impact economy.

  • Collaborative, values-driven culture with real agency and growth potential.

  • A front-row seat to purpose-driven M&A in action working directly with visionary founders, operators, and investors.

  • Competitive base compensation with uncapped, tiered performance-based upside — higher commissions unlocked as you reach new milestones.

  • $200 monthly expense allowance to support your work and professional development.

  • Flexible, 4-day work week designed for sustainability and peak performance.

  • Unlimited time off — we lead with trust, not control. When our values align, trust follows, and we empower you to take the time you need to stay at your best.

  • Contract-based (1099) engagement, with potential to grow into a full-time leadership role as we scale.
